Gujarat: CBI to investigate Ishrat Jahan case

Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court on Thursday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate Ishrat Jahan alleged fake a crash.
SIT chairman R. Verma was directed to file a fresh FIR within the range of two weeks and send the entire report, CBI.
Currently, the Special Investigation Team (SIT), CBI and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) are investigating the case. The victim's family speaks zonda.FIR SIT may also be filed in the case.
CBI also sought to form a group of officers to investigate the case, that would be headed by an officer with the rank of DIG.
The court also noted that the NIA could not be entrusted with the investigation because it is beyond the statute of NIA and this case can not be termed as a terrorist attack after SIT report.
IH Syed, a lawyer for the mother Ishrat said: "Happy with the CBI. Judgement amazing and got what we originally wanted. The Court said the SIT to submit fresh FIR, as well as the transfer earlier FIR, as well. The court also said the CBI to inform the court wraps There were interference from any side. "
Last week, the court asked the FIR must be filed for murder against the police officers who killed her and three others in 2004.
